I just realized the script I created in Drummer to push the same content to my micro.blog doesn't work with titles and sub content. Compare garywthompson.tech to garywthompson.dev and you'll see what I mean. I'll have to revisit the script after I get back from vacation.

As I expected I needed new tires yesterday when I went to Flynn's. The tires I was replacing had lasted for over 45,000 miles which was quite good as they were my first set I had installed after the original manufacturer tires wore out! Along with the oil change we are ready for the trip to OBX next month! 😎

Spain was really dominate in the World Cup Final but couldn't score until extra time which gave them a 1-0 victory. Messi and the rest of the Argentina team were really held in check by the Spain defenders.

Watching the grandkids for one more day and seeing Toy Story 5! Also have to deal with getting the Tesla towed because my daughter popped a tire avoiding an accident yesterday. Tesla doesn't offer roadside tire repair in the Pittsburgh area so it has to be towed to the dealer.

The Pirates game against Atlanta last night had something happen that no other Pirate had ever done in the history of the club. Ryan O'Hearn hit a grand slam and two 3 run homers for a total of 10 RBIs in the game! Was really fun to watch!

We were able to watch the fireworks after all as the storms stopped about 30 minutes before thy were scheduled to go off! The "heat dome" has also finally moved out so the mid 80s are actually going to feel cool! 🤣
